WATCH THE GRIND
Real footage. Real progress. No highlight reel — just the raw journey of building and learning to drift a Toyota Cressida from the ground up.
Full build documentation, raw track sessions, and the unfiltered grind of building drift machines from the ground up.
AscendDrift is a one person operation out of Arizona — built from nothing but a passion for cars, a willingness to get hands dirty, and a refusal to take shortcuts.
It started with an S13 and a crazy idea — pull a Chevy LS engine, rebuild it by hand, and prove you don't need a turbo to make real power. That led to drag racing. Then one ride in a friend's drift car changed the entire direction. The automatic transmission came out. A manual went in. A new obsession was born.
Two S-chassis builds later the Cressida entered the picture — LS swapped, fully caged, and built for one purpose: drifting. Alongside it sits a 1993 Nissan Skyline GTST getting an RB25DET Neo rebuild, because apparently one project at a time isn't enough.
AscendDrift exists to document all of it. Every blown motor, every late night in the garage, every corner finally nailed after spinning out a dozen times. This is the real side of motorsport — no budget builds, no factory support, just one builder figuring it out in real time and filming every step.
Every car tells a story. Here's the full roster — current projects, past builds, and everything in between.
